I suffered from anorexia and bulimia for a decade. I spent years in quasi recovery, playing the over-achieving, perfectionistic, people-pleaser. While people saw “leadership potential,” my life behind closed doors was strict diets, binge eating (the shame! the guilt!), and always trying to buckle down and get things back on track come Monday.
But bit by bit I slowly rewired my mindset. After 10 years of struggling, neural rewiring was the only way I found relief. Food and body image used to control my life, but I reclaimed my authentic self.
